COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ed Beathea has announced his resignation as head coach of the men's track and field and cross country programs at Ohio State, T.J. Shelton, associate athletics director for sport administration, announced Tuesday. Beathea will remain coaching the Buckeyes through the NCAA Championships which take place June 11-14 in Eugene, Ore.
