Ohio State enjoyed sunny skies Friday on the opening day of competition at the 30th Jesse Owens Track & Field Classic at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

The Ohio State track and field team hosts athletes from all levels, including individuals from more than 25 colleges and universities, at the 30th Jesse Owens Track & Field Classic this Friday and Saturday, May 1-2, inside Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

Ohio State sent a small group of athletes to compete at the Ashland Alumni Open Friday and Saturday in Ashland, Ohio.

A win in the women's 400-meter shuttle hurdle relay and school records in the women's sprint medley and distance medley relays highlighted the final day at the 2015 Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, for the Ohio State track and field team.

Junior Alexis Franklin won the women's 400-meter hurdles at the Drake Relays for the second year in a row, highlighting the first day of competition in Des Moines, Iowa, for the Ohio State track and field team.

The Ohio State track and field team travels to Des Moines, Iowa, for the 106th edition of the Drake Relays April 24-25.
