Ohio State track & field senior Zack Bazile and freshman Eric Harrison Jr. were honored with Big Ten Athlete of the Year awards, announced by the conference office on Wednesday. Bazile, the NCAA long jump champion, claimed Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year, while Harrison Jr. took Outdoor Freshman of the Year plaudits after a runner-up finish in the 4x100m relay at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
